The origin of Paul Tyrone Design was a progression starting at the young age of 12 when Paul followed his passion for riding and racing bicycles and began working part-time in a Houston area bicycle store.  By 14, Paul’s skills grew in mechanics and sales in the bicycle industry.  This experience continued as he started university and moved into the management role in another Houston area bicycle company.  This role included building a team to increase productivity and customer service at this company.  By his early 30’s, Paul had established himself as a true specialist in the bicycle industry.  After becoming a father, Paul made a decision to change industries to serve his family better.  He bacame a consultant at a large furniture company west of San Antonio.  He immediately presented the same dedication, providing homeowners with a personal way of presenting product by combining product knowledge along with gaining knowledge about the homeowner.  These two things gained Paul a rewarding way to provide for his family and years of repeat and referral business.  This attention to product and homeowner detail also elevated Paul to a sales management position.  After spending 14 years in the furniture industry providing sales consultants priceless knowledge to improve homeowner relationships and product knowledge, Paul decided to change industries.  The home improvement industry in the Austin, Texas area was his next stop.  He secured a consulting position with one of the largest companies nationwide providing window, siding, roofing, entry doors and patio rooms from sale to install.  After 2 years with this corporation and many sales and customer service goals collected, Paul analyzed his career history and education in several industries and made a sound decision to open his own residential remodeling company.  With 42 years of knowledge in the mechanics, consulting and management as well as securing himself as a  construction trade and company owner in residential construction, Paul continues to grow his business from his roots of product knowledge, homeowner relationships and team building.  Paul Tyrone Design operates in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, with the headquarters being in Houston where Paul was born.  Paul has deep roots in the Houston area, going back 4 generations in the Houston Heights area with his Great Grandfather a pharmacist and once the owner of Balfanz Pharmacy in the Heights.
